Debut Blog

This is the debut blog for the "Michigan Oracle."

Rest assured, o my brothers (and sisters); I am far too humble to take the appellation "oracle" very seriously. I am well aware of my fallibility, and brandish the moniker "michiganoracle" merely in a whimsical vein.

I will try to get things right. Many might eventually disagree with my politics and religion, which I will reveal in dribs and drabs in due course; but in the real world I would seldom arrogate to myself (even if I were able) the power to impose on others my vision of the world. And I will never merely regurgitate "talking points" from any organized political or religious organization here.

But I will try to be honest. That's all I can promise at this time. I have five kids. My time is limited. But there is more to come.
